Because it relies on the idiot sellers to classify their own vehicles. These are the results of a search for “RWD coupes”. It makes you wonder how many cars of your intended type you end up never seeing because they weren’t tagged correctly.

a while back when i was looking for a project car it was so bad I just simply looked at all the cars for sale because there were a lot of gems not classified properly.

Except CL will only show a max of 2500 results so in a city or other large zone you can't even see ALL the cars without using filters to narrow down results.

Thats why price is my only filter, max a few hundred over what I want to spend, and a minimum of 200, to filter out the $1 listings and people who mistakenly put parts in there.

Honestly I wish they had an unspecified filter for each category, that way if you search manual you can also choose unspecified and any car that doesn’t specify what it has also will pop up.
